Damaris Waiyaki is the Manager of the Wisdom Keepers Elders Program. She has a rich experience in the healthcare industry more so she has experience working with senior individuals with intellectual disabilities and the frail. Damaris has a passion for working with the elderly. Damaris has successfully run community-based adult centers and successfully helped open a new one. She holds a Masters degree in Business administration with a specialty of Health Care Services. She is perusing her MSW and plans to work with the elderly and advocate for them as long as she can.

Damaris Waiyaki is an immigrant. She migrated from Kenya in 2007. While in this country, she has worked in the healthcare industry as a caregiver for the elderly and developed a passion for assisting the elderly. Additionally, she was the Vice President of Operations for Affinity Nursing Registry. In her role, she staffed day-to-day activities of the registry, conducted and negotiated the signing of contracts, and hired new employees. Moreover, she was a Program Director for Health For All and Love Joy Adult Day Healthcare Center (ADHC). With Health For All, she was in charge of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), managed and supervised the day-to-day activities of the program, and served as the liaison with the California Department of Aging. With Love Joy ADHC, she facilitated the compliance of ensuring the program complied with Title 22 and assisted in the development of policies and procedures. Damaris Waiyaki is the Manager of the Wisdom Keepers Elders Program.  In this role, she supervises and manages the day-to-day activities, conducts budget management, and ensures the intaking of elders that are victims of violence, abuse, or assault are conducted appropriately in providing the necessary resources. Her education experience: B.A. Health Care Administration, M.B.A Health Care Services, and currently pursuing an MSW. In the long run, Damaris plans to work with the elderly and advocate for them as long as she can.
