Folorunso Ashalou is a passionate and visionary leader who lives a purpose-driven lifestyle. He is originally from Nigeria, a father of four children, a devoted husband to Bridget for over 23 years. At Fathers and Families of San Joaquin, Folorunso ensures that young people are mentored and equipped with a transformed mind and a real vision for their future. He loves to model authentic leadership for youth, family, and society which he believes is the youth’s request from the adults. Today, he is a life coach for our young people, helping them develop a plan for their lives. He also ignites a passion for advocacy and policy change in our young people, making sure that we aim for greater education equity. His desire is to see the youth of Stockton, and greater San Joaquin County, become the stars of California, and that the city of Stockton becomes the most admired community of young people in the United States. Folorunso has dedicated his life to working with youth, as a college Engineering instructor and social worker, and serves passionately in his role at Fathers and Families. Folorunso is a person of strong faith and family values.
